You know the story. December 31st is filled with ideas of how to change yourself in the coming year: lose that extra 10 pounds, start a new exercise program, eat better, start a new project or job, take up a hobby, find a new relationship (or improve the one you’re in). And the list goes on.
So why is it that it’s first week of February and once again your resolutions have gone by the wayside? Or worse yet, why is it that you’re actually trying but still not getting the results you hoped for?
I have the answer. And I bet you haven’t thought of it.
What if the answer isn’t that you lack willpower? Most people have more willpower than they even realize.
What if the answer isn’t that you’re lazy? I kind of doubt you are.
I’m going to suggest an answer that you probably haven’t considered. It’s a problem that you may not even know is a problem, but once solved is a game changer in every area of your life.
Here it is:
Your resolutions failed because you just don’t have enough gas in the tank to see them through!
The ‘gas’ I’m talking about is hormones. Hormones are the fuel that feeds your inner fire.
